Our weekend

We had a super busy weekend. My cousin got married on Saturday so my dad and step-mom were town, as well as my grandparents, aunts/uncle, and cousins. The wedding was beautiful and it was so nice to see everyone. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures from the wedding, but I got a lot from the rest of the weekend...

We loved watching the Blue Angels this weekend. They are AMAZING! My husband now wants to join the Navy. I don't think he realizes he probably wouldn't be able to become a fighter-pilot!
We had a big BBQ on Sunday at my mom's house with everyone!! Sunday morning Drake was climbing on his high chair and he fell off and then his high chair came falling over on him. He got a huge bruise and goose-egg on his forehead. He was miserable pretty much all day because of it. It was sooo sad. He looked like this all day (no-smile, ba-ba in hand, and in someone's arms).

I did manage to get a couple smiles/giggles out of him when I was tickling his feet while he was swinging!
Ivy is such a sweetheart
My dad, me, and Trevor.... we just love it when he comes to visit- wish you lived closer dad!!!

Us 3 girls, kiddos, and both sets of our grandparents. More of the happy BBQ'ers! It was such a beautiful weekend and we enjoyed spending it with family. It is always so nice to see everyone!
We also went on a bike-ride. All 3 kids fit in the bike carriage! What are we going to do next year when we have to fit 4 kids?!?!

Softball

Trevor played in a softball team this year. They had their last game last week. I played last year, but I wasn't able to play this year. We were undefeated last year, and they lost a couple games this year (I think it was because they were missing their best player- ME) Just kidding!!!

The pitcher #6 getting ready for his BIG GAME!The Team!
A few of his fans! Trevor actually had quite a lot of fans at this game. I think we were all too busy yelling at him and embarrassing him to be in this picture!

Our cutie and SWIMMING!!!!

I just thought these pictures were cute of Drake. Drake and I were sitting on the back porch eating a donut, and he went over to reach for my drink... Lets just say it became HIS drink after a million donut floaties were inside of it.
It's faces like these that make me smile from ear to ear! I am so happy that this little boy is mine!

********************************************************
The Petersen pool is now full, warm, and super fun!
Drake LOVES swimming with Trevor. Here they are jumping in together. Drake is fearless in the pool. He doesn't even care if he goes under. He definitely takes after his father!

I wish I could get thrown in the air like this! Trevor.... I dare you to try! Afterall, I am catching up to you in the weight department :( I has been my goal to just not pass Trevor's weight this pregnancy. Things didn't work out for me last pregnancy. I still have a few pounds to go this time around so I am keeping my fingers crossed. It's times like these that I wish I had an overweight husband!

Drake has learned how to blow bubbles in the pool. He is so cute in the pool and he loves to have an audience watch him swim!

Splash Park

We went to the splash park yesterday. Drake had SOOOOO much FUN!!! He loved the water and the slide!
Step 1

Step 2

Step 3

Step 4

Step 5 (Repeat a million times)

It was a little bit cold because of the wind... I think he was shivering here.

These boys also rode this carosel. They thought it was pretty neat!
When we got home Halle was here with Papa Leo and Papa Ivan to put up the chair rail in the nursery. He loved playing with her and our little nursery looks so cute. Thanks so much guys! He didn't take a nap and he was soooooo tired and miserable by the end of the day. But he had such a fun day!

LaTeLy...

Trevor has been torturing Drake with the hose...

And Drake got him back...

I showed him how to get Daddy. We have to watch out if Drake has the hose now.
And I have been torturing my dogs with hair accessories. I needed someone to try them on for me! I think Elmer looks so sweet!

Fourth of July FUN!!!

We always LOVE the fourth of July! We had such a busy and fun-filled day!!! We are so thankful to live in America and to have the freedoms that we enjoy every day. WE LOVE THE USA!
The parade was fun, but a little chilly this year. Drake thought it was fun, but he got bored every once in awhile.
Our 3 adorable nieces. Drake LOVES playing with them!!!
Trevor and his brother Jordan. Trevor loves it when Jordan comes home from school!

Me and the Debster
Breanne and her kiddos

After the parade we had a delicious BBQ (Chicken, Steak, Salmon, Hamburgers, Hotdogs, and more!!!!) at Trevor's parent's house.

We went to our friend's house for another BBQ and to watch the fireworks. Drake and Quinton just LOVE each other, and they play so cute together. We had a GREAT time!

Me and Whitney!

Our family of 3 1/2..... We watched the fireworks from up on the hill in Ammon. We could see them, but they seemed pretty small. I usually love going to the fireworks, but I was actually happy to be out of the crowd this year with our wild child. It was so nice to get home in 5 minutes, instead of 2 hours! Next year we'll try it again! Drake liked these little ones better than the big fireworks anyways! Happy Fourth of July!!
We also had another delicious BBQ on Sunday at my parent's house. I think I was pictured out because I didn't take any photos. We played some bad-mitten and ate WAY TOO MUCH!

More weekend fun!

We had a very busy and fun weekend last week. We spent all weekend in the sun and it was wonderful! On Saturday we went to visit my Grandparents and Uncle in Ririe while they were camping. My Uncle Don took Trevor water skiing and we just hung out, ate lunch, and came home. Then on Sunday we went to Victor for Jaxon's birthday party!

Thirsty boy!
Jaxon, Halle, and Drake
Uncle David and David Jr.

He loved riding this thing but he didn't steer very well.
What a nice girl sharing her ice cream cone. The Birthday Boy! He doesn't look very happy about turning 5!

The B-day party consisted of great food and water fights. My mom is always the one to initiate EVERYTHING. Here she is spraying Trevor. I have learned my lesson the HARD way when dealing with Trevor. He doesn't care if you are his wife (or pregnant wife), his mother-in-law, or anyone else..... He doesn't hold back when retaliating!!!! All I can say is "I warned you mother"!!!
Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of the after-math.... But, practically everyone at the party ended up drenched and my mom got thrown in the pool by Trevor. Drake was so sad because he thought Trevor was hurting his "Maa-ma". I think he has his mother's sensitive side.
