Laynie's 5th Birthday!

I can't believe our little Laynie bug is 5!!!! Wow!!! We love you so much Laynie and are so lucky you are in our family. You continue to be my biggest teacher and the person I admire the most! You are my best little friend! You love all your family so much! You are always happy and you are always up for anything. You work so hard to keep up and you never give up. You have such a strong, feisty spirit about you and it has gotten you so far. I can't believe you are starting kindergarten this year! You are growing up to be such a beautiful girl. We all love you like crazy! Happy 5th Birthday!

It's really neat to look back and remember how far she has come and all she has gone through to get here today. What an amazing journey you have had my little one!!!! You amaze me so much!

We celebrated her birthday a few days after her actually bday because we had some family out of town. I didn't want to confuse her and celebrate her bday twice so we didn't make a big fuss on her real bday but I wanted to make sure she had a great day! We went to target and she got to pick out a toy. She chose a tool set!!!! And then we went to Orange Leaf for some ice cream:) she loved it even though she can't eat it she still loved it!

On Monday (when we celebrated her bday) she woke up to a new bike!!!!! She still needs a little help rising it but it makes her feel special that she has a bike just like the other big kids!

We had her party at the little splash pad by our house because that is her favorite place in the whole wide world. It is very small and she can basically go and have some freedom in the water without getting water into her trach. It's awesome because she usually is so restricted in the water!!!! She LOVES it!
