Happy 2010...

We had a great New Years!!! We definitely celebrate a little differently now that we have a little guy. We hung out at the Petersen's on New Year's Eve. We ate sooo much delicious food (like always). I think Drake lasted until about 9:30 before we had to go home. Then we put on our PJ's, put Drake to bed, and hung out on the couch and waited for the ball to drop.

This is the famous frapee that we have every New Year's. It is so delicious!!!!!!!!!!

Drake really enjoyed it as well.....

I Love my Camera!!!

I just love my new camera and I have been taking lots of pictures. I still don't know much about it, but I am learning new things everyday. I am going to take a class soon, so that should help!

We had our pictures taken over the Christmas holiday. I think they turned out cute. Drake was sick, so he didn't crack a smile..... but that's okay cause he still looks handsome!

*Christmas 2009*

Our Christmas was WONDERFUL this year!!!! We had such a great time celebrating with our families. We started off by having a progressive dinner with Trevor's family a couple of nights before Christmas! We had appetizers at our house!

We started off Christmas morning at the Petersen's..... Can you believe all that cereal Santa brought?
Santa also brought way too many gifts this year. He spoiled us rotten! My favorite gift that Santa brought me is a new camera!!!!!!!! I was so surprised to open my Nikon D3000. It is amazing and I love it! So the quality of photos on this blog are about to improve by a mile!!!!! Yeah!!!
Drakes loves this truck!! He made out with lots of fun things. His favorite toys are this truck from Grandpa Petersen and a vacuum from Grandma Debbie.

Poor little Drake got sick on Christmas day with Croup. He was feeling okay in the morning but got a lot worse in the afternoon. So we spent most of the afternoon hanging out at home. He is still super sick. It is so sad!

We did manage to gander over to my mom's in the evening for a very short time (since Drake was sick). She had a delicious meal and a house full of wild cousins!


I love my mom!!! We have a lot in common... We love to clean, we have the same nose, and we love to wear fleece get-ups all the time!
And here is Drake's best pal, Ivy! She might be the hungriest girl I know! But she sure is cute!!!!

We feel so blessed to have such a wonderful family. Thank you everyone for all of the food, fun, laughs, memories, and gifts!!!!!!!!!!

Gingerbread houses

We had a great time decorating gingerbread houses on Monday night with Trevor's family. His sister and brother-in-law are here from Connecticut and it is so fun to hang out together as a big family. Chirstmas time is so much fun.... I can't wait for Christmas, but I'm not ready for it to be all over after it's gone! I just LOVE this time of year!!!

For Trevor's company Christmas party we went to the Red Lion. Kids were invited and they got to see Santa! When we first put Drake on his lap he had a paranoid look on his face, but then he froze and looked exactly like this. He didn't budge at all. I think he was thinking, if I don't move an inch or look at him, maybe he won't see me! It was cute!!!

Our tree might be the saddest Christmas tree in town, but we are just lucky it is still standing up and hasn't been knocked down by our 1 year old terror. I made the Christmas countdown blocks! Only 21 more days!!!

I LOVE my nativity. I get new pieces every year for Christmas! Our holiday decor is not anything special, but it's so fun to have it up!!

Injury Documentation: Part 4

While we were in Utah over Thanksgiving, Drake fell and chipped his tooth. I thought this was a pretty good picture of the beauty! Trevor and I always feel so bad when he gets hurt (we half-way blame it on ourselves).... Luckily, this one was on Trevor's watch. I was out Christmas shopping on Black Friday! Trevor feels sooooo bad... Don't worry it wasn't your fault! We just love this funny little guy so much!
