It was a BEAUTIFUL day today so me and my friend Whitney took the boys to the park!

Whitney and Quinton...... Whitney has been my best friend since 5th grade. When we were younger we were practically joined at the hip. It is so much fun having babies around the same age and living so close to each other! Thanks for being such a great friend WENDY!

1..2..3.. Strikes, You're OUT

Those were the words I heard over and over again at our 1st softball game last week. The last time I played softball was in junior high and I was a decent player. Apparently, times have changed!!!! We are on a co-ed softball team with some friends and it has been fun so far but I think that they might be wishing they wouldn't have invited me to play with them haha... Trevor is making me go to the batting cages this weekend so I have a better shot at hitting the ball this week! I am excited to play and I will keep you posted on how I do!!!! Wish me luck~

It was my first Mother's Day and it was wonderful!!!! I enjoy being a mom soooooooo much and I am so greatful to have such a sweet and happy baby! I love you Drake...

I also have the most AMAZING Mother, Step-Mom, and Mother-in-law.... I love you all so much! Thank you for being such great mothers.

Halle's soccer game

There is nothing cuter than watching little 5 year olds play soccer! We went to cheer on my little neice Halle at her soccer game. She played great and she scored a bunch of goals! Way to go!!!

Vacation!!!!

We went to Las Vegas and Lake Havasu with my parents..... yes ALL 4 of my parents!! People may think it is crazy that ex's vacation together but it works for our crazy family and I love it that way!!! First we flew to Vegas with my mom and Leonard. We spend 3 days there shopping, cruising the strip, and hanging out by the pool. Then we drove to Lake Havasu and met my Dad, Erin, and Matt. We went out on the lake and hung out. It was very hot and very relaxing. We had a GREAT time!!! Drake was a very good little guy and we are so sad to come back to this cold weather.

Graduation

It was Trevor's official graduation today... except he couldn't attend because it was all the way in Indiana (He graduated from Indiana-Wesleyan University). Me, my Mom, and Drake gave Trevor his very own graduation ceremony in the back yard. He walked down the stairs and my mom sang the graduation song and I announced his name and handed him his diploma. It was a VERY COOL ceremony!!! After that, I gave him a surprise party at TSR (the go-cart race place). Both of our families came and we had lots of fun! And I actually surprised him... I was very proud of myself. We are all so proud of you Trevor!! You worked so hard- congrats! Now, he is either going to find an accounting job or go to graduate school in the fall. Wish us luck!

Going Private

Horray!!!

Congratulations to Trevor.... he finished his last night of school last night. He is officially done with his Bachelors degree in Accounting. He worked so hard.... There were many, many, many nights that he stayed up till 4:00 in the morning doing homework. I'm so proud of you!!!

Our handsome boy got all dressed up for Easter!!! We spent a wonderful Easter Sunday with our families! We are so grateful for Jesus Christ and for the TRUE meaning of Easter!

6 months old

Wow- I can't believe how fast time flies. My little baby is 6 months old today. It has been so much fun watching him grow, but I want him to slow down because I love him as a baby!!!

These are some of the things he loves:

Bathtime

Drinking out of sippy cups- even though he doesn't know how to suck-- the water just pours down his face

Grabbing his 2 brothers fur until they yelp

Waking up in the middle of the night to play

Going on walks in his stroller

Hanging out with family and friends

Chewing on my cell phone

Slobbering on everything

He sure has changed over the last 6 months. It's going to be fun to see what he looks like and what he can do in another 6 months.

Swimming...

This was Drake's first experience in a swimming pool. He didn't love it, but he also didn't hate it. He will get lots of practice swimming this summer in Grandma and Grandpa Petersen's pool :) We can't wait!!!
