Fourth of July FUN!!!
We always LOVE the fourth of July! We had such a busy and fun-filled day!!! We are so thankful to live in America and to have the freedoms that we enjoy every day. WE LOVE THE USA!
The parade was fun, but a little chilly this year. Drake thought it was fun, but he got bored every once in awhile.
Our 3 adorable nieces. Drake LOVES playing with them!!!
Trevor and his brother Jordan. Trevor loves it when Jordan comes home from school!
Me and the Debster
Breanne and her kiddos
After the parade we had a delicious BBQ (Chicken, Steak, Salmon, Hamburgers, Hotdogs, and more!!!!) at Trevor's parent's house.

We went to our friend's house for another BBQ and to watch the fireworks. Drake and Quinton just LOVE each other, and they play so cute together. We had a GREAT time!
Me and Whitney!
Our family of 3 1/2.....
We watched the fireworks from up on the hill in Ammon. We could see them, but they seemed pretty small. I usually love going to the fireworks, but I was actually happy to be out of the crowd this year with our wild child. It was so nice to get home in 5 minutes, instead of 2 hours! Next year we'll try it again! Drake liked these little ones better than the big fireworks anyways! Happy Fourth of July!!
We also had another delicious BBQ on Sunday at my parent's house. I think I was pictured out because I didn't take any photos. We played some bad-mitten and ate WAY TOO MUCH!

More weekend fun!
We had a very busy and fun weekend last week. We spent all weekend in the sun and it was wonderful! On Saturday we went to visit my Grandparents and Uncle in Ririe while they were camping. My Uncle Don took Trevor water skiing and we just hung out, ate lunch, and came home. Then on Sunday we went to Victor for Jaxon's birthday party!
Thirsty boy!
Jaxon, Halle, and Drake
Uncle David and David Jr.
He loved riding this thing but he didn't steer very well.
What a nice girl sharing her ice cream cone.
The Birthday Boy! He doesn't look very happy about turning 5!
The B-day party consisted of great food and water fights. My mom is always the one to initiate EVERYTHING. Here she is spraying Trevor. I have learned my lesson the HARD way when dealing with Trevor. He doesn't care if you are his wife (or pregnant wife), his mother-in-law, or anyone else..... He doesn't hold back when retaliating!!!! All I can say is "I warned you mother"!!!
Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of the after-math.... But, practically everyone at the party ended up drenched and my mom got thrown in the pool by Trevor. Drake was so sad because he thought Trevor was hurting his "Maa-ma". I think he has his mother's sensitive side.
COOL like Daddy!
Drake LOVES to copy his Daddy and help him work outside! His top 3 favorite things right now are probably his Da-da, the doggies poo-poo, and lawn mowers. He is quite fascinated with all 3 of those things. Drake thought he was so COOL because he got to wear his sunglasses just like daddy while they mowed the lawn together. It was SOOOO cute!
He wore them the whole time and followed Trevor everywhere with his little lawn mower. He also really likes to vacuum with me and he uses his own little vacuum. He is such a great helper.

Girl's LATE night out!
A group of friends and I went to the midnight premiere of Eclipse. No, none of us consider ourselves "Twi-hards," but we thought it would just be fun to go. We went to Applebees first for appetizers/dessert and then went to the movie. We all got to sit together, but we were in the front row. There were some people that waited in line since 7:00 am to get their choice of seats- NO THANKS! The front row really didn't bother me though. The movie was great and so was the experience. I am paying for it today though- waking up at 7:30 am was a little rough this morning!
We borrowed this cardboard Edward from some girls sitting behind us. I have such awesome girls in my neighborhood! Geez- I can't believe I forgot to wear my vampire fangs, red contacts, and "Team Edward" shirt. What was I thinking? Actually, I think I am kind of "Team Neutral"!!!
Here is a picture of the whole group.... it's so fuzzy because I brought my old camera.

Fun in the SUN!
It seemed like the day would never come that we could go play in the sun. Well, our summer weather has finally arrived and we couldn't be happier!
We had a play date with some friends. These three boys had a blast playing with each other!
They ran around copying eachother, threw water balloons, played with bubbles, and got all wet!
Quinton and Stockton
Our little family on my birthday! We took Drake over to my mom's house and went out to Famous Dave's. It was quite delicious! I was spoiled by my husband and family.... like always!
I sure have such a greater appreciation for my mom now that I have experienced pregnancy and motherhood! Thanks for giving birth to me 24 years ago and being the best mom every step of the way! I couldn't be happier or wish for a better life! I feel so blessed to be alive and to celebrate another year with those I love!
When we got home to pick up Drake he was having so much fun in the sprinklers!

Our New Addition!
Nope.... our baby didn't come early! Meet the new addition to our family...................

We got a 2009 Nissan Murano. We were SO SAD to trade in the Trailblazer, but we are SO EXCITED to get this new car. We have been looking for an AWD SUV for awhile and we both decided that we really liked the Murano. We looked and looked and finally found this one in Boise. We met them in Burley yesterday to test drive it, and we loved it.... so we brought it home. When we were looking at cars I told Trevor that the only color I didn't want is silver, but this was a SUPER GREAT deal, so we just had to get it. And I am actually loving the silver now! We hope it treats us as good as the Trailblazer did! We are loving it!!!

Baby girl stuff...
Here are a couple of ultrasound pictures of our little girl at 28 weeks.... You can definitely see her cleft lip in the first picture. Our scanner isn't working so the picture quality isn't great. Everything else still looks great and she is growing at the normal rate. These 3d pictures are so cool, but are also a little scary looking! My pregnancy has been going well so far. I think I'm just entering the uncomfortable stage. Uhhh!!! We meet with the Plastic Surgeon from Primary Children's Hospital in July, so I am so excited to get a lot of questions answered and get more information! I think I have read every website possible regarding cleft lip/palate, but it is still nice to talk face-to-face with the doctor that deals with it every day and that will be taking care of your baby! We have also started a couple of little projects for her.....

This dresser was Trevor's dads when he was younger. It is about 50 years old!
The finished dresser! We think it turned out great. I just sanded it, painted it, painted the flowers, and put on the knobs. We are glad we didn't have to go buy a new dresser and it's going to look just perfect in her room!
Up close view of the flower and knob. We have her bedding, but we still need to paint her room! Also, we are waiting for Drake to get into a big boy bed before we can put the crib in her room. He is not even close to going to a big boy bed, so hopefully we can get him ready shortly after she arrives! I will post more pictures of her room when it is done!
Well, we are about 95% sure that her name is going to be LAYNIE!!! We call her Laynie Bug all the time, so that is what I put on the bow holder. I love it!!!

Where has my BABY gone?
It seems like my little baby has outgrown the baby stage for good. I was trying to hold on to it as long as I could, but I think it is officially over! Doesn't he look so BIG in his little tie and vest? Drake goes to nursery now at church and it has given me just a little taste of what sending your kid to school for the first time must feel like. It is so much fun watching him learn and grow though!!! He makes me laugh so hard every day. I just love this little guy so much!

DRAKE UPDATE:
He has really started TALKING a lot lately. It is so cute to listen to him jabber and try to communicate with us. Here are some of my favorite things that he is saying....
Ernie, Papa (calls his Grandpa's and Grandma's this), I want some, No (his favorite word), Yep, Mamma, Dadda, Baba, Bye-bye, Mow-Mower (lawn mower), Truck, Plane, Ball, More, Bubbles, Boo...... and so many more!!!
He knows the sounds of these animals:
Dog, Cat, Frog, Duck, Cow, Sheep, and Snake.
He is the BIGGEST copy-cat ever. He especially loves to copy his dad!
He would LIVE outside if I would let him. He is out there rain or shine!
He loves to HELP his mom clean. He gets out his little vacuum or broom when I am cleaning and copies me. He also picks up all the rugs and shakes them outside. It is so funny.
He spots any older man and calls him Papa!
He is so nice to our dogs and he loves to give them treats. He also loves big dogs!
He is a not a great eater. He is picky and eats like a mouse. He is still loving his bottles though! Uhhh!!
He kisses my belly a lot, but I don't think he really understands that he is going to have a baby sister!
He loves to play hide-n-seek. We hide and he comes and finds us and then we scare him. He laughs so hard, but actually is very scared. haha
He is such a busy guy. A lot of times after he goes to bed, Trevor and I will say "Ohhh... we miss Drake". He is the light of our lives and we are so happy he is our little man. And we are excited to have another BABY soon!!
